FUNKY BELLA HAIR SALON POLICIES

At our Hair Salon, we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their Funky Bella hair salon experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.

Appointments & Rescheduling: at: FUNKY BELLA HAIR SALON 

We understand that situations arise from time to time that may delay a scheduled service from beginning on time. We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals or last minute cancellations, and appointments may have to be rescheduled.

We ask to give a minimum or 24 hours notice if cancellation/rescheduling is necessary. All appointments that are cancelled within the 24 hour period (that require a deposit) are subject to a cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments booked with less than 3 hours of time between when the appointment was made and when the appointment is scheduled to take place are not subject to this policy.

​

Please give 24 hours' notice (or more) if you need to cancel an appointment. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within the 24 hour window will be charged 50% of the scheduled service(s). No-shows & same day cancellations will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. A credit card is required to secure hair appointments 

​

Please note that cancellations can only be made/confirmed if you speak to a manager or stylist over the phone or through email (funkybella493@gmail.com.) Messages to cancel left on our answering machine will not accepted.

Late Arrival

At FUNKY BELLA HAIR SALON we allow a 15 minute grace period for tardiness. If there is an anticipated delay please call or email the salon.  We will call any late clients 10 minutes into their scheduled start time. If more than the 15 minute grace period has passed the stylist may no longer be able to accommodate or complete the service(s) for the tardy client. Late Arrival service(s) may be altered for the allowed time during the appointment by the discretion of the stylist. Exceptionally Late Arrival clients may be considered No Shows according to the stylist.

No Shows

No shows (clients who do not show up to their scheduled appointment without contacting the salon and assigned stylist to cancel) will forfeit any deposit(s) made during the original scheduling. Clients who repeatedly No Show on more than two occasions will be required to pay in full before any appointment can be booked (this prepayment is nonrefundable) and will also no longer be allowed to book any future appointments online, but may book over the phone. Funky Bella Hair Salon   stylists reserve the right to refuse present or future services to habitual No Shows.

Children in the Salon

No children under the age of 13 are allowed to be left unattended in any area of the salon. Salon guests who need to bring their child to their appointment must bring a quiet activity for them to work on during the duration of the scheduled hair appointment (no crayons, paint or markers are allowed). We recommend that children under the age of 6 come for visits lasting not longer than 30 minutes. If it is an absolute must, we simply ask to be aware and courteous of other salon guests. Our space is an adult environment. Uncensored songs, and language may be used.

 Parents will be charged the full price of repairing or replacing any damaged equipment/furniture or other salon guests property resulting from misuse by their children. Please remember that our stylists are using very sharp scissors, clippers, heated tools and chemicals that can be dangerous to skin and eyes. If the child/children are disturbing other clients or stylists or are not acting appropriately while at the salon, we may be ask the parents to reschedule.

Refunds, Returns, Products & Pricing:

We will gladly adjust any original service within 1 week of the original visit (within reason) and it is to be done by the original stylist of the appointment. To book a readjustment appointment please email or call (no voicemail). Please Note: we cannot guarantee our services if they have been altered at home against the stylist recommendation, altered by another stylist or if non-recommend products have been used. We do not offer any refunds for any services or used hair products. Prices and services are subject to change. All prices, hours and staff schedules are subject to change without prior notice. Deposits are required at the time of booking for specific services.

 

All hair care products may be returned within one week, only if un-used, unopened and in new condition. If the product has been used or opened it will not be able to be exchange.

 

Miscellaneous:

We have the right to refuse anyone for any service for any reason.

FUNKY BELLA HAIR SALON is an alcohol friendly environment, all alcoholic beverages must/will be provided by the salon. There is a two drink maximum per service, all alcoholic beverages must be served by your stylist or salon member. No outside alcohol is allowed in our salon space. Smoking is prohibited in our salon and outdoor space. Restrooms are for salon guests only.

Gift Certificates:

No refunds will be given for gift certificate purchases. Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash. Certificates may be transferred to another recipient or used for product purchases. Certificates must be presented for redemption.
