Hello there I am Maley, owner of Funky Bella. I am from Costa Rica and I have been doing hair for a long time!! (since my 20's) .

I have been around all cultures and countries learning and here I am!

I've made Brooklyn my home. 

With over 12 years of experience, I have worked internationally as a hairstylist. My work extends through Europe, Central and South America. For the past 6 years I have lived in  Brooklyn with my son, my dash-hound and cat. I am a master colorist (I also love doing haircuts). My specialty ranges from redheads, blond transformations, color corrections, to the wild and vibrant. I am also available for make-up Services. I am fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English. For fun I love to indulge in wine, WALK AROUND BROOKLYN , MOSTLY BEDSTUY, watch movies and spend time with my son, friends and family.
